Ben is a Certified Spinning® Instructor (AFAA, ACE, NASM and CPD) and lives for three things: Sweating, making you sweat and making mixtapes. Once this became clear, we thought he was an ideal fit for the SBH team. That and the fact that he spent years powering through with some of NYC's most intense spin instructors. Now that he's back in LA, he's determined to make you do the same. With an emphasis on proper form and High Intensity Interval Training, his classes are designed to help you blast past your personal goals and get the shred you're seeking. Ben believes the ride is a true form of meditation -- and that once you shed the day, dig in and push yourself, you can leave with a very real sense of personal empowerment. (Also, his deftly-curated class mixtapes are the absolute jam.)

Sonya began her journey with fitness while in her teens, finding exercise not only to be an answer to her struggle with weight but also an answer to handling the challenges and stresses of everyday life with greater ease. Her passion for sharing this with others is what inspired her to become an instructor. Combined with a background in music and her genuine love for all things cardio, finding her way to the energetic and rhythmic world of spin simply felt like the next step in her fitness evolution. For her, exercise is part meditation, part fun, and part duty. Sonya hopes to inspire students to stay dedicated to their own personal self care and self love!

Ruben has been teaching Spinning® classes since August of 2000. His passion for teaching classes came from his own personal challenges with weight. Moving to San Francisco in 1994 was a pivotal point for him. Through diet and exercise and healthy living habits, he was able to successfully take off the excess weight. With that challenge, his love for fitness was born. He realized that if he could do it, anyone could. It is still a mantra that he lives by today. While in the Bay Area, he was also a DJ at a high volume club. He takes his love for music and his love for coaching and brings you his best every time.  Ruben has the ability to create classes that are not only challenging, but fun and inspirational at the same time. He is pleased to welcome everyone to the studio. After all, we all truly amazing and have the power to achieve great things!

An east coast native, Ashley found her passion for wellness during college, where she began teaching group exercise in 2004 and made health education her career path.  In 2016, she landed in LA and hasn’t looked back!  Ashley loves seeing people realize that they can achieve their goals, and providing the tools to help them build their happiest, healthiest life! Ashley loves to be outdoors, hit live shows, cook delicious food, and explore the world with her dog, Jackie.  She brings this adventurous spirit into every ride, highlighting a variety of genres in her mixes and always encouraging each rider to connect with and respect their body, on and off the bike!

Cameron is a native Angeleno who discovered spin through a weight loss journey at age 14, and hasn’t stopped since. He started teaching in 2014 at the UCLA John Wooden Center (Go Bruins!), where he led a community of riders committed to using their time on the bike as a benchmark for the progress in their lives outside the class. Spin is never just pedal strokes and resistance, it’s a call to action for change, self-love, and transformation in all aspects of life. Using the rhythm of the music as a driving force for your motivation, Cameron challenges you to come find yourself, make change, and (of course) have way too much fun while doing it.

After being struck by a car in 2010, DJ began searching for alternative forms of exercising to continue channeling his inner animal spirit. He obtained his 200hr CYT Yoga Alliance Certification and his Spin journey began in 2015.  The high energy, low impact nature of indoor cycling really resonated with DJ.  Forever a big kid at heart, his 45 min Spin-a-Paloozas are upbeat, energetic, fun, and festive, all while focused on injury prevention. His digital dance party will have you vibeing and vibrating to a variety of Pop, EDM, R&B, Top 40's, remixes, and requests! This Is your ride: Rise and Roar with DJ!

She learned early on the value of dedication and discipline. The only way to be good at anything is to give it your all and to practice, practice, practice. One time, Mary Kate Olsen walked into one of her classes, so that was cool. Off the mat, Bridgid is a shooting guard in a women's basketball league, a musician, and a television writer. She crosses her heart and promises to never use Sanskrit during class.

Akal Manpreet has used Kundalini Yoga to find her own empowerment and liberation from cycles of substance abuse and abusive relationships. She is passionate about sharing yoga with anyone who is looking for a better way to live. Her classes are focused on educating students about their physical, energetic, and emotional bodies.

Two years ago, Liz earned her yoga certification and also teaches a weekly yoga and mindfulness class for children. Liz views spinning as a form of moving meditation and her goal is to have everyone leave her class feeling strong, inspired, and smiling!
